The OFSC Board members or their designees will be fulfilling monitoring duties this year. All skaters must check in with the monitor before going on the Ice at Romney and Cullinan Rinks, at the Crisafulli rink , please enter the Ice and report in at the Intercom located under the Sound Booth

Monitor Duties (In General)

First and foremost: The monitor's most important job is to look out for our skater's safety and welfare.

The monitor book and all other club belongings are to be kept in the club's locked locker at each rink. Each parent will be informed of the locker combination.

Keep a record of all skaters who are present by having them sign in as they arrive. (using sign-in book or monitor book)

Collect Walk-On fees from any non-members and issue a receipt, leaving a copy in the receipt book. Turn over any monies at the first available opportunity to any board member.

Make sure that skater's are following Oswego FSC policies found in the Skating Manual to ensure safety and pleasurable skating for all.

Periodically check rink area to assure that everything is running smoothly.

Keep an eye on skaters' bags and belongings.

Feel free to question anyone who does not seem to belong at club ice time or who is not abiding by club policies.

Play music at freestyle & dance sessions.

A more detailed list of responsibilities is located in the Monitor book at each rink. Parents will also be oriented to the "Monitor Job" at the first general meeting of the skating season, explaining how to set up and play music during freestyle or dance sessions. Also, ask any Board Member for assistance in set-up.
